Steel Fish Sculptures

A school of polished steel fish and a wave-like timber screen, made for the courtyard of Kandinsky House.

The composition was created for a seating area in the courtyard of Kandinsky House, on the Iset River in central Yekaterinburg.

Polished stainless-steel fish in two sizes, 35 and 50 cm, are paired with a wooden partition that recalls sea waves. Their form was first modelled in plasticine, then translated into drawings for craftsmen.
